Happy St Patricks Day!

Weekend recap

This weekend was alot of fun. We had 50 snowflakes fall friday so they closed the office. I was so excited when i called at 6:40 that morning and they said not to come in. So i got up, watched the news and then got ready and went to work with my sister. My plan was to do homework all day. But i was having way to much fun to even think about that. Miranda came and she brought Krymson. This was my first time meeting her and she was so much fun. She's definitely one of the most laid back baby's ive ever met.

Then saturday i had to do homework all day. It was the future brother in laws bday so we went and ate mexican that night. He got the whip cream all over his face. It was great. Then after that we went to best buy. I bought another new tv. I got a 32" for my room. I cant wait to move some stuff out so i can put my new entertainment center and tv in there.

Today consisted of getting up early and helping out at church. It was our 50th year celebration and it wore me out! I had to help register people and then i ended up going to the nursery with my mom. It was just way to many people in that church. Then i came home and took a nap and wrote my last essay for the week that i probably messed up. But i dont care.

Now its time for me to get in the bed and go to sleep. Back to work tomorrow.

Random thoughts.

• We're suppose to get snow tonight. Snow in Alabama you ask? That only happens like every 20 years. Hopefully we at least get something and the office is closed tomorrow!
• I really dont like one of my new classes. This healthcare management class is going to get the death of me. I tried to drop it, but the girl in financial aid that i talked to today said it wasnt a good idea. Plus i'd have to take an extra class next term and thats impossible.
• I really wish i could just redo my room. I want a new dresser, nightstand and i want a bed. I also want to put my new entertainment center together, and go buy the new tv i've been wanting.
• Ive bought 2 new movies within 2 weeks. When do i have time to even sit down and watch a movie? Let alone the news?
• I just realized ive posted a blog 2 days in a row. Very unusual for me.
• I got my valentines day swap package in the mail yesterday. I got chocolate chip cookie mix with heart shaped cookie cutter, some burts bees foot lotion and some cinnamon vanilla nut coffee. I cannot wait to try that out! It smells so good! It was definitely a good ending to a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE day i had.
• I cannot wait for our trip to the beach. Even though we only live like an hour from it. I rented a house there for a weekend in april for my sisters bachelorette party. Sooo excited!
• I absolutely love chocolate soymilk. I always hear people talk about soymilk so i decided to try it. At first i was kinda like ewww, this is weird....but it grew on me. Regular milk kinda makes me sick now.

That was my recent random list. Kinda boring but i have nothing else to talk about. I've finished my homework, now im going to get in the bed and read my new glamour magazine :)

This day was for the birds.

I feel like the only time i update this thing is when i have a bad day. But oh well. Cause i need to vent for a minute. Today was a horrible HORRIBLE day. I forgot to stick the UPS stuff outside the door yesterday. I heard the guy around the room so i assumed he got them. I went in there and locked the door and turned the lights off, not even lookin at the table where i had sat the stuff at. So we all left. When i got to work this morning and walked in the other room my boss was right behind me. She was like can you explain that?? I said what? And she pointed toward the table. All i saw was a box and i thought she was talkin about that. I was like i dont know, fed ex hasnt even been here, so theres no way it could have gone out. She was like no....not that. Then she pointed at the UPS stuff. I was like omg, omg, omg! I told her it was an accident and i was sorry. She just kept saying there's no way in the world that could have been an accident, there's no excuse you can give me for this. She was MAD! Then she started telling me that she cant go behind me after i do stuff (like i want her to) and make sure everything is done. She was pretty much talkin to me like i was a 2 year old. I was so mad. All i could say was im sorry and i just started crying. She said i have to take this up to so and so and talk to her about it. And i have no idea what the outcome of this will be.

So her and the other woman go up the hall and i just started crying. I was still crying when they came back in the room. A couple minutes later my boss sent me an email (even though our desks are right next to each other) and it said,

Lori, i didnt mean to upset you this morning. None of those packages had to be there today so we're ok on that part. I did talk to so and so about it and she said to write you up as a warning. I'll be talkin to you this afternoon about it, preferable when the other girl goes to lunch.

She never talked to me. And for the rest of the day she acted like she was my best friend. I cant stand that. Dont stand there and yell and chew me out and make me so mad that i cry (which it takes alot for me to do) and then be my best friend.

On a good note....i got my valentines day swap present today!! I love everything she sent me! I just wish she had put her name and address so i could at least write her back and say thanks. I got chocolate chip cookie mix, some burt's bees foot lotion and some coffee.

My laptop is about to die so i have to get off. Im done complaining...at least for right now.

Im just miserable.

Just this week we've had so many people out sick at work. And the other day i was thinking....man, i hardly get sick.

I should have knocked on every wood object around me. Cause guess what happened?

I GOT SICK!

My head hurts, my ears are stopped up, my nose keeps running and im so congested, my eyes are watery and i've sneezed more today than i have my whole life.

Im just plain miserable.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that.

2 whole weeks since i've updated. Im definitely not one to blog every single day. Probably cause i have absolutely nothing to write about most of the time. I feel like i havent done anything but work and do homework. Im so over these 2 classes. My tourism teacher is so picky and can find any little thing to keep you from getting a 100. Only 2 more weeks and im done!

Ive been tryin to do better on my weight watchers. For a long time i just didnt care, and the scale showed. The past 2 weeks i've lost 3.4 lbs. Ready to lose more! I thought about doing the 30 day shred. But knowing me....it wouldnt last 3 days. Who knows. I need to think about that some more :)

Glee has become my new favorite show. I love it. Its funny, the music in it is great and it definitely keeps you entertained. I had never watched the show but went and bought season 1. So far im on disc 2 and its starting to get good.

I decided to have kristi's bachelorette party at the beach. I found a house on ono island thats really cheap. Well alot cheaper than a condo! 2 of the bridesmaids cant go due to other obligations. I really wish they could go. But i totally understand. I found some zebra invitations on etsy today that i want to order. Im excited. I need to order those soon.

I also need to do my FAFSA and sit and wait for my w-2 and my papers from school to come in so i can do my taxes. If im lucky to get anything back this year.....maybe i'll buy the tv i've really been wanting! Just a thought! :)

I want to go to paint and pals sometime in february. I've only been once and i cant wait to go back. They need to hurry up and put their new schedule on their website. I bet you anything its mostly mardi gras stuff. Ugh.

My laptop only has 12% battery left so i guess i have to end this. Have a good rest of the week!

You have definitely showed yourself the past few weeks. It would be absolutely fine with me if you wanted to leave and not come back for awhile. Thanks alot.

I dont remember Alabama having this such cold weather for so long. This is not normal. Usually we might have about 4 days of really cold weather and then its gone. I cant believe im saying this.....but im dying for some spring feeling days. I cant wait to sweat. I'll even take the afro looking, frizzy hair.

I feel like i CANNOT get warm for anything. I go to bed freezing, wake up freezing, take a cold shower, go to work freezing (we work in a basement with no windows and its cement and its absolutey cold), come home to a house where the heater blows cold air and then freeze for the rest of the night. IM SO TIRED OF BEING COLD!

Ok. Im done complaining.

I bought season 1 of glee yesterday. I have never seen the show before but have heard good things about it. Im excited. Even though i dont have alot of time to sit down and actually watch tv or a movie.....i plan on getting in my semi-warm bed and watch the first show tonight.

Speaking of my bed, i bought a new mattress pad saturday night. I never thought i would pay that much for one...but it was on sale...i couldnt resist and i thought it would actually help. This one is soooo much thicker than my other. I couldnt actually tell a difference because i pretty much sleep in a hole. Maybe i was just to tired and cold to notice.

Well since im cold again, im going to get my nice fuzzy white robe and my red plaid slippers (that i cannot live without) and try to get a little warmer.
