An addiction

Anybody who knows me can tell you that i have an addiction to Sephora. We recently got one in our mall a couple months ago and i could probably spend all day in there. I look at their website about 5 times a day. And at lunch usually for about 30 minutes. I think i pretty much have the whole website memorized.

Here are some of my favorite things that ive gotten from there.

 This is probably my favorite. This is made by Lorac. I use the white eyeshadow and then put the lighter gray on it. I bought it a couple days before my sisters wedding. So ive been using it everyday for almost 8 months and still have a ton left.

I think everybody in the world needs to buy this. I always ready about it and heard people talk about it. I decided to try it one day, and im forever hooked. If they stop making this i would seriously be sad.



I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this stuff. Its the luminizing black mask. Its feels like you are putting tar on your face, but it WORKS. You can tell a huge difference after the first time you use it. Its a little expensive, but soooo worth it.

Its already November?

I dont know about you, but this year has FLOWN by. I guess being in 2 weddings, school and work can defnitely keep me busy. But im not complaining!

I would do anything to be sitting in one of those chairs right about now. Would you?

My new favorite thing

Last week i got my Glamour magazine and found a free sample of Garnier's moisture rescue refreshing gel cream. I thought i would try it after i washed my face that night. Let me just tell you....this stuff is AMAZING! I have the hardest time finding something for my face that i just absolutely love. I decided i had to get a jar of it, so i went to walgreens. Sure enough they had it. Its only $7.99, but they have it on sale for $5.99. This stuff is definitely worth $8. I would highly recommend every woman to go out and buy it. I use it after i have washed my face and you can still tell its working the next day. I love it. Oh and i have a dollar off coupon for it if anybody wants it.

It's finally here.

Football season is here and i would give just about anything to be sitting in this stadium right now.

Since the game is on pay per view, i wont be watching it. Instead i will be heading over across the bay to do some shopping (or more like looking, i just want to walk around outside).

I came across a website called My Home Ideas that shows you different types of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, outdoor living areas and tons of other stuff . If you've never seen it, you should check it out. They have some cool stuff on there. Especially the "nautical/cottage" bedrooms. These are some of my favorites.

A year older....

I turned 29 yesterday. I cant believe i have one more year till the big 3-0. This birthday consisted of going to pensacola to go shopping with my mom, a spicy chicken sandwich from chikfila (im so addicted to those things), dinner at osaka with the family and Krista, fried cheesecake, coming back to the house and eating more cheesecake, my new red Keurig mini, a new comforter, a monogrammed tote bag, new coffee cup and the best smelling body wash ever created.

This has to be one of my favorite stores. I walk in and see all this stuff that i wish i could buy. I could probably spend $100 in there in no time. We finally got one in the mall about a week ago. So me and my mom went there tonight to see what it was like and i needed some stuff from there anyway. I ended up buying eyeliner, eyeshadow primer and some lip gloss. I had a card from there i got in the mail a couple weeks ago saying to come get my free birthday gift. I go to check out and the girl tells me my total. I said can i use my beauty insiders card? She said im sorry, but we're not set up to take those yet but we should be set up at the beginning of next year. She told me 2 things she could do and neither one made sense. They werent going to give me my points that i wanted. So i said nevermind. So then i said well i have this card saying i get a free makeup set for my b'day. She looked at me and said im sorry, but we're not set up for that either, we just opened and they havent set us up for that, but we should be able to do it at the beginning of next year. I just rolled my eyes and said well ok. I wanted to say well the card said i can only use this 2 weeks before or after my bday...and its next week....and you're more than likely not going to take this next year. So needless to say, if you want anything at sephora, just wait till the beginning of next year.

I cant believe August is almost here

I dont know about you....but July flew by to me. This next month is going to be busy with a couple of things.

• August 7 - Jessica's wedding. This is my brother in laws sister. It'll be kind of interesting for him, my sister and me to all be in the wedding party.
• August 9 - Payton's 3rd bday. This has to be one of my favorite kids in the whole world. She's hilarious. I remember meeting her for the first time like it was yesterday. Ive been to her last 2 parties and im NOT missing this one.
• August 10 - my 29th birthday. Its hard to believe that this is my last year in my 20s. I remember when i thought people who were 20 were ancient. Hopefully 29 will be a good year!
• August 14 - Payton's birthday party. This year it's at a pizza place and it's a princess themed party. I cant wait to see her, her sister and parents and a couple of their friends who we've gotten to know the last few years.

I am in desperate need of a vacation. I dont care if its just for a weekend. I would love to go stay in a condo somewhere and just sit out on the beach all day on saturday. Yeah....that sounds good.

Two posts in one day....i dont think this has EVER happened. I went to walmart tonight with my mom and just happened to wonder over to the comforters and was looking. I found this one that i like. I love that color of blue. And plus its just plain and simple. How i like stuff. What do you think?

After i got home tonight i went to walmarts website and decided to look at all their comforters. Thats when i spotted this.

I love love love this comforter. Actually its a bed in a bag and guess what? Its only $34. Yes......thats a very good price! So if anybody would like to get me that as b'day present, id be your best friend forever! :)

Favorite things

Since i have absolutely nothing interesting to blog about now....i thought i would share some of my recent favorite things. The first is the Dancing Waters scent at Bath and Body Works. I dont know what it is about this stuff, but i absolutely LOVE it. My birthday is 1 month from today, so if anybody would like to buy me the shower gel or perfume i would greatly appreciate it!

My next thing is pickles. I seriously think i could eat a whole jar every day. These have been half of my lunch lately. I just cant get enough!

where has time gone?

It has been two months since my last post. Those two months were spent working, doing homework in two classes that i absolutely hated and getting prepared for this.....

Yep....my sister got married! June 5th! Here are a couple of pics from that hot, HOT day.

It was a fun day! And a fun rehearsal! We had the dinner on the riverboat cruise at bellengrath. Soooo much fun! I wish i could go again. Pics of that will come soon. And i promise it wont be another 2 months before i update :)

Paint and Pals!

Last night i went to Paint and Pals with my mom. They had their "spring cleaning," so it was only $20. The class was full and they had several paintings to choose from. I wanted to do one of the funky trees. I didnt see the one i wanted to do originally, so i picked another one. I saw a girl that did the one that i wanted to, and i kinda didnt like it. Here's what i painted. Its not very good. Sorry its so blurry. I took that pic with my blackberry.

So guess what i got in the mail today? Jury duty papers. This has always been something i was scared id get. Im not a fan of going places ive never been by myself, and especially all the way downtown to the court building, or whatever its called. It says i have to go on april 27. Thats a tuesday. Is that normal? Is it a holiday? Oh well.

I keep seeing so many blogs about the wishful wednesdays. Im wishing i could go to a ZBB concert. They're coming to the beach here in may to some kind of music fest, but tickets are way to expensive. The beach.....ZBB....what could be more fun!

Dear Old Navy, You just took half my paycheck......

Old Navy is usually where i buy my jeans because they come in short and i just like how they fit. Plus they're cheap. I hardly ever find shirts in there i like because theyre either lowcut, short, to fitted, or i just dont like them at all. But i have gone in there like 3 times in the past week and have spent about $50 each time. I need to stop. But ive found alot of stuff for work. Which i desperately needed! Here are a couple of things i have bought.

I bought this cardigan in white and then the cream of artichoke, which is a really light green. They are sooooo comfortable!

Weekend recap

This weekend was alot of fun. We had 50 snowflakes fall friday so they closed the office. I was so excited when i called at 6:40 that morning and they said not to come in. So i got up, watched the news and then got ready and went to work with my sister. My plan was to do homework all day. But i was having way to much fun to even think about that. Miranda came and she brought Krymson. This was my first time meeting her and she was so much fun. She's definitely one of the most laid back baby's ive ever met.

Then saturday i had to do homework all day. It was the future brother in laws bday so we went and ate mexican that night. He got the whip cream all over his face. It was great. Then after that we went to best buy. I bought another new tv. I got a 32" for my room. I cant wait to move some stuff out so i can put my new entertainment center and tv in there.

Today consisted of getting up early and helping out at church. It was our 50th year celebration and it wore me out! I had to help register people and then i ended up going to the nursery with my mom. It was just way to many people in that church. Then i came home and took a nap and wrote my last essay for the week that i probably messed up. But i dont care.

Now its time for me to get in the bed and go to sleep. Back to work tomorrow.

Random thoughts.

• We're suppose to get snow tonight. Snow in Alabama you ask? That only happens like every 20 years. Hopefully we at least get something and the office is closed tomorrow!
• I really dont like one of my new classes. This healthcare management class is going to get the death of me. I tried to drop it, but the girl in financial aid that i talked to today said it wasnt a good idea. Plus i'd have to take an extra class next term and thats impossible.
• I really wish i could just redo my room. I want a new dresser, nightstand and i want a bed. I also want to put my new entertainment center together, and go buy the new tv i've been wanting.
• Ive bought 2 new movies within 2 weeks. When do i have time to even sit down and watch a movie? Let alone the news?
• I just realized ive posted a blog 2 days in a row. Very unusual for me.
• I got my valentines day swap package in the mail yesterday. I got chocolate chip cookie mix with heart shaped cookie cutter, some burts bees foot lotion and some cinnamon vanilla nut coffee. I cannot wait to try that out! It smells so good! It was definitely a good ending to a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE day i had.
• I cannot wait for our trip to the beach. Even though we only live like an hour from it. I rented a house there for a weekend in april for my sisters bachelorette party. Sooo excited!
• I absolutely love chocolate soymilk. I always hear people talk about soymilk so i decided to try it. At first i was kinda like ewww, this is weird....but it grew on me. Regular milk kinda makes me sick now.

That was my recent random list. Kinda boring but i have nothing else to talk about. I've finished my homework, now im going to get in the bed and read my new glamour magazine :)
